So I'm home now from Spring Break 2019: Utah. Messaging Scott when I got home: Trying to make a list of things I can do to keep my feelings from vacation (calm, peace, lower stress) as well as continue the weight loss. (Weighed 235 on 3/10. Weigh 228 on 3/30) Thinking of some at home yoga in the mornings to stretch and ease some of my morning anxiety (like what happened Friday morning), eating more real food and less processed/fast food (considering Keto, but compromising by consciously eating less sugar and pasta and eating more veggies and fats.... might need to look me up some keto info/recipes), exercising a little more regularly (ok, exercising at all would be an improvement), getting out and in the sun to help my vitamin D deficiency. Recently, I received an ADHD "diagnosis". I say "diagnosis" because my NP (nurse practitioner) wasn't sure if that's what was causing my issues. She decided to try me on a dose of Adderall with the understanding that if it wasn't what my body needed, I'd know it pretty quick. This is because Adderall is a stimulant medication that helps the brain allow the neurons to deal with..... well something better. If my body didn't need the stimulant, taking one would overstimulate my body and I'd have heart palpitations, feel hot and look flushed. Those "side effects" kinda scared me a bit. Even though I got the prescription on a Wednesday, I didn't want to take it and have palpitations with my students in the room. I waited to take it till I'd gotten a better night's sleep. I took my first Adderall on the way to church 3/17/19. I knew I'd be surrounded by medical professionals if I ended up
feeling anything out of the ordi...

I know I butchered the quote, but it kind of makes sense. If everything is given to us, than did we really succeed? Life isn't like a store bought bird feeder. It's like a do it yourself kit. Does it have all the pieces? Who knows. It does come with an instruction manual, but it's 531 pages long (The Book of Mormon). I was able to tell Joyce abou...
