Gratitude journal: day 14
I'm grateful for being able to learn from some amazing teachers at my placement. They show me how you can fit being completely funny into a lesson. My 3rd grade ELA teacher ended up almost having a spontaneous class wide dance party while talking about adjectives today!

Gratitude journal: day 13
I'm grateful for after work naps, steak and friends who are not pushy, yet understand how I feel when I'm having a bad day. Never underestimate the power of a post work nap. I went from "I wanna punch people so I'm avoiding most human contact and staying under my blankets" to "I wanna eat steak in public" in a matter of a couple of hours. Pre-nap, I couldn't even drag myself out of bed for a steak dinner. Post-nap, I managed to not bite off our waitresses head for taking forever to bring us our food.

Gratitude journal: day 12
I'm grateful for kind people who think about others feelings. Valentine's day can be a bit hard as I see others getting gifts from significant others. Jennie brought me a pot of roses and a little bag of truffle chocolates. It means a lot that she thought to do this for me.

Gratitude journal: day 11
I'm very grateful to be working with some fantastic professors and university staff who take my educational concerns seriously.
After finding out that indeed, my placement teacher doesn't currently hold a SPED license (a requirement of the university in order to receive a methods student), my "team" of professors, staff, and observer were able to investigate and remedy the issue. I will be transferring placements to another school next week.
