The begining of my list of pet peeves: IMPATIENT PEOPLE!!!!

We have got to have one of THE most impatient mail men of all time delivering to my office!!!!
so i am in the bathroom when my little dinger bell goes off (multiple times: someone got a bit trigger happy) . so i finish realy quick, and he AGAIN gets trigger happy!!!!!
so i hurry and wash my hands, go out and my boss has gotten the door. she would have needed to come up anyway because she or the VP has to sign for Certified mail, which is why this guy was comming up to bring us the mail instead of just leaving it in the box.
it frustrates me because this is not the first time this has happened that he gets really impatient. i only learned the other day that the office manager or the VP are the only ones that can sign for the cert. mail, but one of my coworkers informed me that the mail man gets frustrated when we have to go get someone else to sign. but it is our "company policy"/rule.
we dont complain when we dont get the mail till like 3:00 some days, but he complains when we take an extra 30 seconds to come to the window.

New Printer?!?!?!?!?

Can it be true? I'm getting a new printer at work?!?!?! I realize this might not be as exciting for you as it is for me. but what you must understand is that I have the oldest computer at work... by like 3 years or more (and in computer age, 3 years is a long time!) I've only been without a printer for like 3 days at work, but even when I did have a color printer, it didn't print on cardstock which ment I couldn't print the business cards, or the time cards. Now I can print color things at my desk that I would either have to have someone else print, or I would have to print them on the other side of the building, meaning I would have to go to the other side of the building, load the correct paper product in the printer, go back to my desk to hit the print button, back to the printer to collect the printed items, then back to my desk to do whatever I had planned on doing with it. (that is if I remember what I was going to do with it)

Rough Day

I can't say it's entirely been rough... just the last 20 minutes. The rest of my weekend was great! (that's for a happier blog post later.) As I was on my way home from a birthday party, I realized tomorrow is Monday. I have to go back to work tomorrow. And I don't want to. Going along with that is I'm sick of my job and I'm sick of complaining about my job. I'm grateful for the ability I have to work and provide for myself. I really am. But this last year, it's been really rough. Between a new boss and new rules and procedures I just dont want to be there anymore. I really dont! I'm sick of disliking Sunday nights so much because I know what the next day will bring. Frustration, anxiety, loathing, genereal dislike, feeling underappreciated. I dont know how much more of this job I can take! I was so worked up about this on the way home that I was crying. Then when I walked in the door of my house, I was to the point of being angry.
