20 questions about me - Update

I started reading some old blog posts and found that in the past, I liked to answer random questions about myself and figured I'd give it another go!

  1. Watch Star Wars, or Star Trek?
    Definitely Star Trek! I've watched several of the series already!
  2. Read on a Kindle or paperback book?
    Neither. Most of the books I "read" are audiobooks.
  3. Go to a play or musical?
    Musical
  4. Go to the theater or a movie?
    Movie
  5. Hike or bike?
    Bike. Definitely! I can't wait for the weather to be consistently warmer. (It was 60 degrees here yesterday!)
  6. Wear jeans or chinos?
    Jeans. Honestly, I have no idea what chinos are.
  7. Have a Margarita or Pina Colada?
    Neither, I don't drink alcohol.
  8. Drink a glass of Guinness or Fat Tire?
    Again, neither, I don't drink alcohol.
  9. Crash with friends or stay in a hotel?
    Hotel. My friends would frown if I took their bottles of shampoo and soap from their bathrooms.
  10. Visit Europe or Mexico?
    Europe
  11. Vacation in Hawaii or Alaska, and why?
    I'd love to go to Hawaii. Alaska just seams too cold.
  12. Go skiing or snowshoeing?
    I've been skiing. I'd rather try snowshoeing.
  13. Travel by plane, train, or automobile?
    Plane because it gets me there faster. Train because I would get to completely relax and enjoy the scenery. Automobile because it usually involves friends, loud music and a ton of laughter.
  14. Enjoy a houseboat or speed boat?
    Houseboat, I guess.
  15. Go climbing or zip lining?
    Neither. I do not enjoy heights.
  16. Go to a comedy club or dance club?
    Can we change them to a board game club?
  17. Have a night out or evening in?
    Depends on who I get to spend time with.... ;)
  18. Watch TV or read a book?
    Watch TV.
  19. Go canoeing or waterskiing?
    I love canoeing! That's another thing I'd like to do more of this year.
  20. Camp in an RV or stay in a tent?
    Tent camping. RV's are for wusses and retirees.
  21. Use Facebook or Twitter?
    Facebook. I have a Twitter, but I primarily use Facebook.
  22. Choose a free trip or money?
    Hmmm.... This one is hard. I'd have to say the money. Though a trip would be nice, I could also plan a trip with the money and customize it to be whatever I wanted.
  23. Win the lottery or find your perfect job?
    Find my perfect job. I love being able to work and working is even better when I love what I do.
  24. Swim in a pool or the ocean?
    I'd have to say swim in a pool. The ocean seems too salty and sunny. My red hair and fair skin do not agree with overexposure to the sun.
  25. Travel by sailboat or cruise ship?
    Cruise ship? Don't they have helicopter pads to take me to remote exotic locations? Or is that just on TV?
  26. Watch sports or play sports?
    Watch sports.... definitely.
  27. Play dodgeball or kickball?
    I think I'd rather play kickball. Dodgeball just seems too rough.

New Printer?!?!?!?!?

Can it be true? I'm getting a new printer at work?!?!?! I realize this might not be as exciting for you as it is for me. but what you must understand is that I have the oldest computer at work... by like 3 years or more (and in computer age, 3 years is a long time!) I've only been without a printer for like 3 days at work, but even when I did have a color printer, it didn't print on cardstock which ment I couldn't print the business cards, or the time cards. Now I can print color things at my desk that I would either have to have someone else print, or I would have to print them on the other side of the building, meaning I would have to go to the other side of the building, load the correct paper product in the printer, go back to my desk to hit the print button, back to the printer to collect the printed items, then back to my desk to do whatever I had planned on doing with it. (that is if I remember what I was going to do with it)

Rough Day

I can't say it's entirely been rough... just the last 20 minutes. The rest of my weekend was great! (that's for a happier blog post later.) As I was on my way home from a birthday party, I realized tomorrow is Monday. I have to go back to work tomorrow. And I don't want to. Going along with that is I'm sick of my job and I'm sick of complaining about my job. I'm grateful for the ability I have to work and provide for myself. I really am. But this last year, it's been really rough. Between a new boss and new rules and procedures I just dont want to be there anymore. I really dont! I'm sick of disliking Sunday nights so much because I know what the next day will bring. Frustration, anxiety, loathing, genereal dislike, feeling underappreciated. I dont know how much more of this job I can take! I was so worked up about this on the way home that I was crying. Then when I walked in the door of my house, I was to the point of being angry.
